Going to graduation..

Hello! I'm very happy to announce that on the 10th of July I graduated with a BA (hons) 2:1 in Photography!

It was a very busy and stressful day, but enjoyable, and luckily the weather held out for it.

A slightly picture heavy post but thats what its about!

Super early as usual to everything - it filled up a lot more later on!

As you can see, (or maybe not) the hood on my robes was a lovely lime green colour What do you wear with lime green? I went for a basic black body con midi dress, although you can't see it in the picture, is a scoop neck. Also, and you can slightly see the line, I'm wearing control underwear as black bodycon is seriously unflattering. I didn't really fancy spending a lot on spanx, so I opted for Debenhams own control tights, and at £6, they did a pretty good job!

As I couldn't face stacking it in heels on steps in front of thousands of people, I opted for some plain flats - I chose these black suede slipper flats from New Look. (Still in shops, I do believe).

Check out my lovely mother and father!

Class of 2012 (well 1/4 of the year anyway) - congratulations to you all! Best wishes for the future, have faith in your dreams!

(yes that is Zandra Rhodes in the middle at the front - she is UCA's Chancellor)

For me, however, education is not quite over - I'll be doing my masters in photography next year. I'd also like to link to my photo website and other blog, seeing as its my day job!

Has anybody else graduated this year? What did you wear to your graduation?

  1. Quite a late comment, but congratulations :) I did a level photography, but decided to do languages for my degree instead of photography.

    3. haha I know right! I worked part-time throughout the third year of my degree, and now I'm undertaking my masters - not sure if I'm making the right decision or not...just going to go with it and see what happens!
