The Budget Series: Sleek True Colour Lipstick in 777 Bare All

 (source)

So this is the second part of my budget series, and I'm really excited to share with you all this particular product, as I feel as if I've struck oil after finding such a perfect summer colour!

Sleek Makeup is a high street brand that is only available in Superdrug. They also have an online shop (here) and are really reasonable prices. I haven't tried any of their other products other than their lipsticks but they do quite a wide range of foundations, lip colours, eyeshadows etc.

I have previously before bought one of their lipsticks in a really dark shade of red as it was the only place I could actually find the particular shade I was after. For £4 I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, richness of colour and longevity of the lipstick, so much so infact, I recently bought another one.

The shade I have bought is called Bare All and it is a Matt colour. (As well all know, I am a big fan of matt lip colours) I have been after this shade for a while but my local superdrug as been out of stock of it for a while, so I'm guessing it has been popular - and for good reason!

Do not be put off by the dull stock image on the website- this isn't the true colour of the lipstick and neither is the colour stamp on the packet either - it's a beautiful cross between a peachy coral and a neutral pink - it brightens up your whole face with how summery it is.

I really love the packaging of these lipsticks too - they come in a box, whilst the box itself isn't so appealing, the matt case of the lipstick is really chic and looks good in any makeup bag.

The lipstick itself, whilst although being a matt colour, it is enriched with vitamin E so that your lips do not dry out. Nevertheless, like with all matt lip products, you have to make sure your lips are in good condition, free from any dryness and I find it really useful to apply a lip balm after I take it off to add some moisture back into my lips.

It is really impressive how pigmented their lipsticks are - even the glossy ones have such intense colour, which I find quite rare in high street lipsticks. It has a fantastic staying power through the day, although will come off if you eat, but not if you drink. The colour itself is bright so is perfect for day wear, but I think would also look great for night wear too.

I'm so happy I've finally managed to grab this colour as I've been after one just like it for sooo long! I highly recommend you pop to your local superdrug and give it a test as the pictures just do not do it justice - you won't be disappointed!

What's your signature lip colour this summer?
