Clinique Lash Power Mascara

I have actually had this mascara for about 2 months now, but seem to have completely forgotten to review it. The box is a little battered due to this, apologies!

I've had this mascara before and loved it because it literally doesn't budge - its the ultimate longwear mascara with no flaking or printing. I had some points on my Debenhams Beauty Card which got me a tenner off - so instead of the RRP £16 I was lucky enough to get mine for just £6.

I've never really "done" Clinique - until once round a friend's I borrowed her mascara and fell in love with this little beauty. Clinique promise 24 hour stay regardless of rain, tears, humidity or the end of the world (I made that bit up.) It does really deliver this. The brush is quite a small brush, and after using chunky big brushes for so long, I quite liked the change. Its small enough to get all the tiny lashes and provides a natural look without clumping.

(I have actually waxed my eyebrows since taking these pics..)

I do really like this for the fact that it stays on until you try to remove it. BUT - and it's a big but - You have to be so so careful when removing it, as I found out when I bought it for the very first time. If you use a non waterproof remover it actually pulls your eyelashes out, which is not a great look. However after discovering The Body Shop's Camomile waterproof eye make-up remover which is incredible on stubborn make-up, I thought I'd brave it again and give it a go. I'm very happy I did.

I'd definitely recommend this if you like longwear make-up, or have small eyelashes that the large brushes just don't reach.

What's your favourite Clinique product?
