Product Review: The Body Shop Nutriganics Drops of Youth *

Hello! The weather has been so cold lately I've taken being a hermit so I'm using the time at home to write some blog posts. I recieved this gift from work for working my ass off, and its a product we're all quite excited about and its caused a lot of hype because its meant to be AMAZING.

Drops of Youth is a serum that focuses on the first signs of anti-ageing and making them disappear. As you may or may not know, stem cells have a bit of a reputation for medical reasons and preventing ageing, and this contains plant stem cells so its totally ethical (not that you would expect any less from the body shop.)

It retails at £22 a bottle, which is quite pricey, but a little goes a long way. Also I couldn't find it on the UK website (maybe its not out here yet) but its on the US website and I know we have it for sale already in my shop.

It comes with a little dropper like this, which I think will make it slightly difficult to get the product out when its nearly finished with, but it makes it easier to get the right amount out. There is a button on the top which you press and itll such it up into the dropper and then you push it again to release the product.

It looks kinda icky and gunky in the bottle but when its on the skin its quite smooth and sinks in very quickly. The dropper gave me this amount which is enough to do my whole face.

This is set to be quite a cult product for anti-ageing of all stages. As you can't if anything works until you've given it a fair run, I'll do an update in about a couple of months - or follow me on twitter @naomigraham for updates!

What do you think of anti-ageing, and what age do you think you should start? Are natural ingredients in products important to you?

  2. Yep - a few! it really does smooth your skin out and make it super soft, although if you use too much, it can be a bit sticky. My worst area really is my eyes and unfortunately this hasn't really made much of a difference on that - but my overall complexion it really did improve, my skin feels firmer! x
